Ratnapura Saman Devalaya, Saman Devala Perahera
- Ratnapura Saman Devalaya one of the most venerated temples in Sri Lanka has located 4 km west of Ratnapura. This shrine is dedicated to the deity “Saman” who is the presiding deity of the Sri Pada (Adam's Peak) Mountain.
Annual Ratnapura Maha Saman Devala Esala Perahera held between August and September brings alive the longstanding traditions that have remained on for many centuries like Kandy Esala Perahera.
