DAY - 1 (Airport – Kandy) -Stay @ - KANDY

  • At the arrival lounge of Colombo Airport, guests will be received by your chauffeur guide, who will take care of them for the whole tour and transfer to Kandy. Approximately 3 hours’ drive.
  • Relaxed few hours at the hotel.
  • In the afternoon, visit the Dalada Maligawa, the temple where the two surviving relics of the tooth of Lord Buddha are placed and which is an object of veneration for Buddhists.
  • The sacred city of Kandy, a cultural world heritage site, was the last capital of the Sri Lankan Sinhalese kingdom. Sri Dalada Maligawa, the temple of the tooth relic of Lord Buddha.
  • Then, proceed to your reserved viewing gallery seat to watch the Kandy Esala Perahera.
  • Overnight stay at a 3-star hotel in Kandy.

  • Breakfast at the hotel. Transfer you to Ella via Nuwara Eliya and Nanuoya.  From Kandy to Nanuoya, it is approximately 2 and a half hours’ drive.
  • En route, visit a tea factory in Nuwara Eliya.
  • From Nanuoya to Ella, you will travel by train. The journey from Nanuoya to Ella through Sri Lanka’s central highlands is considered one of the best train journeys in the world.
  • You will be picked up by your chauffeur guide at the Ella Railway Station.
  • Overnight stay at 3 Star hotel in Ella

Day - 4 (Ella - Arugam Bay) -Stay @ - ARUGAM BAY

  • Early morning hike to Little Adam’s Peak and witness the sunrise at the top of the peak.
  • Little Adams Peak in Ella is about 1,141 m in height, not that much higher than the famous Adam’s Peak, recorded at 2,243 m in height, and a considerably tougher and longer hike. Therefore, hiking to Little Adam’s Peak is not that difficult, and it takes only 3 hours for both the up and down. If you are witnessing the sunrise at the top of the peak, you will be mesmerised by the scenic beauty of the surroundings.
  • Late breakfast at the hotel.
  • Explore the Ravana Ella waterfall, the "Nine Arch Bridge," and the "Demodara Loop", the icons in Ella. They are located on the railway line between Demodara and Ella. The spiral rail line goes around the loop, passes under it, and emerges from a tunnel.
  • Afternoon, transfer guests to Arugam Bay. Approximately 2 hours’ drive.
