  • At the arrival lounge of Colombo Airport, you will be received by your chauffeur guide who will take care of you for next 4 Days and transfer you to Bentota. Approximately 3 hours’ drive.
  • Relaxed few hours and start a village tour in Hiriwadunna.
  • This 3-hour tour is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to experience real Sri Lankan village life. The tour starts with a bullock cart ride up to the village reservoir. From there, you will take a boat ride to the next side of the village. After a short walk through the paddy fields and vegetable cultivation, you will reach a village house where you will help prepare traditional meals using traditional methods. At the village house, you can relax and taste a delicious Sri Lankan lunch.
  • Climb Sigiriya Lion Rock after that. One of the Eight Wonders of the World according to Blumberg. Sigiriya is a 180-meter-tall, historic rock castle with steep slopes and a flat peak. King Kasyapa (477–495 AD) selected it as his seat of government, painted the interior walls with paintings, and added a grand palace to the top. Access to the site at the top is through the capital's ruins and a string of halls and staircases that emerge from the jaws of a huge lion made of brick and plaster.

  • Polonnaruwa was Sri Lanka's second capital for three centuries, beginning in the 11th century AD.It was the best-preserved ancient ruin site in Sri Lanka. Most of the monumental ruins were built by King Parakramabahu I in the 12th century.
  • Ruins at the Polonnaruwa ancient city have four core areas: northern monuments, the ancient city, royal citadel monuments, and southern monuments. Each area has a different monument with its own uniqueness that deserves to be seen and admired.
  • In the afternoon, go to Minneriya National Park, which has the largest herd of Asian elephants anywhere in the world, making it one of Asia's best wildlife experiences.
  • Around the ancient Minneriya reservoir inside the Minneriya National Park, elephants can be seen throughout the year. However, as many as 300 elephants congregate on the reservoir-bed grasslands of the Minneriya tank during the dry season from July to September. There are other animals like deer, water buffalo, crocodiles, iguanas, monkeys, and birds that can also be seen in the park.

  • At the end of it, you will be transferred to the airport for departure. Approximately 20 min drive.
