Safari Holidays - Option XI - Summer
A stamp, small piece of paper contributes to protecting wildlife worldwide. WWF has encouraged to issue stamps on wildlife and every time you mail a letter with wildlife depicted stamp you will contribute to protecting vanishing species in the world.
Sri Lanka Department of Posts has issued a series of stamps depicting wildlife in the national parks in Sri Lanka. This 14-day tour programme has planned to witness the scenes depicted on those stamps and some other nature-related stamps.
The interesting feature of this tour would be joining of a stamp designer who designs some of those stamps with you at some point in your tour to explain the story behind the designing of those stamps. You may also have a chance to request him to do a painting for you.
