A toddy tapper, who collects the fermented sap of the coconut flower from the coconut tree by walking on a tightrope between the top of adjoining coconut trees is an exciting seen to watch.

Early morning around 6.30 am trek will start through hilly virgin rainforest. It will go through striking paths and sparkling water streams with the hearing of the chirping sounds of endemic birds.
This 14 km teak will provide the best opportunity to observe some rarest birds and butterflies of Sri Lanka, a complex of ancient caves named “Gallen Yaya” and “ Koskuklana Peak”.
Climbing “Sinhagala Peak” would somewhat be challenging but at the summit, the view of the surrounding virgin rain forest would be breathtaking.
The pool down the Kekuna Ella Water Fall is a fabulous place to have a bath in cool shallow water
You should prepare for leeches and your guide will assist you in preparations.
The entire trek will take 7-9 hours. Picnic meals and drinks will be provided.

Early morning transfer to Mirissa for Whales and Dolphins watching tour.
During the months of December to April pods of Dolphins and a large number of Sperm whales and Blue whales are common a few kilometers from the Mirissa beach.
Tour will take 4-5 hours.
Then transfer you to Colombo. Approximately 3 hours’ drive if you drive directly.
En-route visit the port city of Galle which is a UNESCO Cultural World Heritage Site. The Portuguese and the Dutch use Galle as the main seaport on the island. A lot of historical, archaeological and architectural colonial remains are there in Galle. Of which the Galle Fort is main and the best. It is the largest remaining fortress in Asia built by European occupiers. Even today the colonial-era buildings inside the fort, function as villas, antique shops, cafes, and restaurants without changing their old fashion.
