Puranagama, Anuradhapura

This is a model traditional hamlet in the period of 1800 - 1850 in the Anuradhapura region called locally “Nuwara Kalaviya”. The ancient Sri Lankan village model of reservoir, the stupa, Village, and temple have best displayed here. The activities, rituals, and traditions are demonstrating by the actual members of this model village.
