Sri Lanka has known the world over her arts and crafts. Most traditional products are manufactured by applying age-old techniques that have been handed down from generation to generation through verbal tradition. These artefacts are manufactured using traditional tools which are very primitive and require skill and practice to use effectively.
This tour programme has carefully planned to experience the real taste of exciting and skilful craftsmanship of lacquerware, weaving, batiks, Dumbara mats, drum making, brass works, pottery, and famous tea manufacturing.
